It was a great movie due entirely to the cast. As the movie moves along, the story gets one dimensional really quick. But it those days, movies had to be simple to so that viewers, with lacking imagination, would understand.
As of this day, Total Recall (1990) is equally good as Total Recall (2012) as both delivered action packed scenes and plot.
