Despite how terrible one could think this looks after all these years, don't tell me it's not a lot of fun. Verhoeven spends a lot of time gleefully exploring this bizarre world and it never really becomes too serious in its nature.
Amazing lines, delicious 80s prosthetic gore and outrageous Arnold facial expressions, not to mention a pretty damn inventive story, even if it's ridiculous. There's a reason this film has somewhat of an iconic action status to its name.
