Review of Total Recall (1990) by Mathew G — 02 Feb 2013
A great space aged sci-fi thriller that keeps you thinking. It easily has the most complex story without being miss-understood. Arnie goes all out to find out the truth behind Rekall and his memories of his double life and racks up a nice body count in gritty, gory fashion that is the norm with Schwarzenegger movies. And the fast pace of the movie is relentless and keeps the viewer interested without being totally consumed with straight violence and action with the help of a complex plot, interesting characters, and humor that keeps the movie going. And the special effects in this movie (considering its 1990) are superb and well thought out.
I thought the character Kuato could've had a bigger role in the Movie but aside from that my final thoughts are that is movie is very good and I recommend that people see it (pending that you aren't the faint of heart and can watch some graphic violence).
5/5.
