Review of Total Recall (1990) by Frances H — 05 Dec 2013
Total Recall is a typical Arnold classic. When one watches an Arnold flick, he or she must remember the following: (1.) the acting will be middle of the road at best if not subpar, (2.) the action will be over the top, (3.
) the plot will be a bit implausible but maintain interest. Total Recall satisfies each of those Arnold classic qualities, making it a great flick to rent but only a moderately decent movie. Don't look for moving moments or powerful acting.
Sit back, order pizza, invite over some friends, and enjoy a night in; that's about all Total Recall offers (which today, is not a bad thing at all).
