While it is too violent and disgusting and Schwarzenegger is just a bad actor, Total Recall nonetheless succeeds thanks to engaging story, thrilling action sequences, fast pacing, and spectacular visual effects.
In the end, it still is a blockbuster, but it is a blockbuster definitely worth checking out.
