Review of Torn Curtain (1966) by Paul K — 03 Apr 2008
Cant believe some of the good reviews on here. A very weak Hitchcock thriller. Newman and Andrews werent his first choice for the starring roles and it looks like he lost interest in them... diverting most of the interesting dialogue to other characters.
There is no chemistry between Newman and Andrews. The best scene is in the 8th minute when Hitchcock makes his cameo. Complete rubbish.
