Imagine if Woody Allen was a cross-dressing torch singer, and you're getting pretty close. Harvey Fierstein will bring you to your knees with laughter and humility as Arnold, and Anne Bancroft is perfect as his confused and over-bearing mother.
I've seen this movie so many times that I can't believe I still have to cringe when the riots start...
