Hollywood epic of the old school style. Incredible attention to detail. A bureaucratic so tangled that messages of suspicion are not delivered until tragic confirmation. A bit on the slow side as the tale is told from all angles, with few bad guys.
Every character is compelling, none feel false. The battle is epic with stunts not even attempted in modern times, CG being a replacement for human endurance and skill. We will never see movies like this again.
