A typically strong spoof from the likes of the ZAZ team. The gags are fast and furious (but perhaps not quite as fast-paced as their more famous efforts) but it elicited quite a few lols from me and I had to stop the movie more than once to warp my head around the zaniness.
Val Kilmer surprised me; at such a callow point in his career, he ably handled the lead role, the humor, and the singing. I particularly enjoyed the goofy celebrity cameos tucked in there. I continue to lament the destruction of the spoof genre today.
It's just not the same without this creative team at the helm.
