This is a damn near perfect light musical. The problem is by the time the movie reaches its logical end-point (Astaire and Rogers performing 'Cheek to Cheek') its continues to proceed until the awful 'Picolino' number.
God how that bugs me. This doesn't diminish the impact of the aforementioned 'Cheek' or 'Isn't it a Lovely Day' or 'Top Hat'.
