I'm not sure what movie others were watching but this is not even close to bettering the original. It lacks the soul of the original. From the one liners that people still remember today the cast of over the top egotistical characters who are larger than life.

The great soundtrack that strikes up at the right time. This movie has none of it. It try's to ride on the coat tails of nostalgia and falls flat. It won't take your breath away. Infact if anything it's lost that loving feeling.
