Review of Top Gun (1955) by Themumblelover . — 27 Jul 2013

I enjoyed Top Gun recently didn't think I would. I remember reading a Tarantino interview where he said this film is a great homoerotic, male bonding film or words to that affect, and I watched it in that vein and I would have to say I would agree with Tarantino, the elements of bravado, posing and touching strikes you as a great buddy movie. The aerial shots of the Jets are breath-taking.

I certainly see this film differently than I did 20 years ago.
