Review of Top Five (2014) by Patrick V — 25 Dec 2014
Chris Rock is amazingly talented and I think "Top Five" is tour de force triple threat talent display by him. You will laugh out loud and you will be moved by the personal interactions in this movie.
One of my favorites, J. B. Smoove, as Andre Allen's (Chris Rock) man Friday is superb. I always thought he was a comic genius from his days as Leon on "Curb Your Enthusiasm". My only criticism is the supporting cast of other comics whom (I felt) didn't add a whole lot to the substance of the film.
