This movie is so weird! It has a slightly backhanded, pro-feminist message that I'm sure was supposed to be "empowering" at the time but now it's just like, uh, what? I was dying laughing at the scene with Tootsie and "her" agent at the Russian Tea Room, though.
And Terri Garr is really great.
