Review of Tooth and Nail (2007) by Matt R — 23 Mar 2009
I was massively hyped for this one and the disappointment that rained down on this tired soul was too heavy for me to burden. The story was interesting but lack luster acting and a script too large for the budget and time allotted prevented this from ever really taking flight.
Lots of great ideas that began to bloom were thrown to the side too early and nothing ever felt fully accomplished. The acting was expectantly not the best (even from the ill used Madsen and Jones) and the directing tended to be the hightlight.
For fans of the 8 Films to Die For franchise mostly and those hardcore into the genre. Otherwise mostly a skip.
