Review of Tony Takitani (2004) by Kristen U — 25 Aug 2007
A very emotional selection! I think what I loved most about this film was how the camera constatly moved to give the feel of "time passing" because really, I think, that's what it was all about; showing Tony's struggle of getting over his wifes death-moving on in his life and living in the present, not the past.
The music was also a great selelction which made it even more enjoyable. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who likes movies that have the dialog explain the plot rather than the movie itself, but for those who are into these kinds of 'abstract' cinemas, a total must see.
