Review of Tomorrow, When the War Began (2010) by Clint V — 15 Nov 2012
Tomorrow: When the War Began could be compared to Red Dawn; a film that back in the 1980s, was built around Cold War paranoia.
We never find out what nationality the army that invades Australia is.
I have not read the novel that this film is based on, so I don't know how faithful an adaptation this is.
This film was successful in Australia. Even with some questionable casting, Tomorrow : When the War Began shows that Australians can make decent mainstream films.
