Review of Tomorrow Night (1998) by Jacob M — 21 Feb 2014
Louis CK's debut movie is altogether sporadically funny and worth watching for its originality, even though you may find yourself looking at how much longer the movie will last while you watch. The film has some dazzling, unique comedic moments such as the lovingly-strange, insane old man and the powerfully hilarious Steve Carrell.
The quirks throughout the film make this worth watching, though the main character is a bit boring, but this was probably intentional. If you are used to artsy movies, this will be a fun watch. If you're accustomed to Hollywood blockbusters, you may consider this a waste of time.
The film's best quality is its uniqueness and the characters that carry the film played by J.B. Smoove, Steve Carrell, and Joe Dolphin.
