One of my favorite movies from my childhood, now as an adult, I can appreciate the not so subtle raunchiness of it, and laugh ever time. Some critics said that this movie wasn't good because Farley made fat jokes at his own expense, my question to them is, "have you never seen his SNL skits? Especially the one where he tries out for Chippendale's? Not to mention all the other skits, this is his comedy, he was doing it then, and continued that in this movie.
He was a big guy, he had come to terms with it. Almost all comedy will involve someone poking fun at someone else's expense, so lighten up, and enjoy the show, as the rest of us have.
