In my opinion, possibly the funniest movie low-brow movie of all-time, this movie got me interested in comedy. I cry at it's rotten score every night. It made me into the smart-ass I've become.
It's marvelously mis-matched stars have some of the best on-screen comedic chemistry since Abbot and Costello and Lowe is an excellent douche. Tommy Boy can only be hated by a complete cynic and I understand if it's not for you, but seriously, admit it.
.. you laughed when you saw him write Herbie Hancock.
