Review of Tommy Boy (1995) by Mark V — 19 Aug 2014
I love this movie. It is one of the funniest movies of the mid 90s. I remember being snowed infor 11 days straight. Hardly any food after day 6 but popcorn and butter and a popcorn maker. No cable. Phone lines were down.
All I had were 3 VHS movies besides a bunch of dub tapes with bad tracking and some didn't even play. Tommy Boy, The Crow. And Heat. It was these 3 movies that kept my sanity. I will always hold these 3 movies above all others because of that.
In retrospect they more or less saved my life..11 days with no food up in the Kentucky hills... You don't know how scary that is until it happens to you.
