Vikander played Croft with a self-assured confidence that bordered on arrogance (taking risks without hesitation, even when her life didn't depend on it), and it was probably the best part of the film.

The story left something to be desired, but the interactions between characters were really enjoyable to watch. As a fan of the game, I thought the film really captured the essence of the puzzles and chase sequences that I loved to play as a kid.

I think it delivered what it promised--a fun, action-filled adventure movie--and I would see a sequel, provided they put a little more thought into the story.
