Many would question whether it is worth nearly $100 million dollars to remake an iconic film that was the gold standard in video game adaptations. Angelina Jolie's depiction of Lara seemed so perfect that one has to wonder if Academy Award winner Alicia Vikander.
?(The Danish Girl) would be believable as the tycoon adventuress.
Well this is 2018 and she is the new, improved Lara, a super fit, younger and more brash version of the beloved heroine.
Spectacular stunts, impressive photography and a story that makes you believe in legends is reminiscent of "Raiders of the Lost Ark".
?Great fun and definitely a franchise reborn.
