Review of Tomb Raider (2018) by Lucas I — 09 May 2018
If you enjoy the newer reboot games you will like this movie; if you haven't played them its still easy to follow and a great reboot for the franchise. I don't believe the advertisement prior to release was enough of a push to get this movie going in theaters especially with the competition it had.
The characters are well done and true to the original premise and story spot on. Action scenes are done well and believable not over the top or cartoonish like the jolie films. My 5 yr old enjoyed the movie and so did I as a big tomb raider video game fan.
It really deserves better for what they accomplished considering the backlash after the other films.
