Review of Tom and Huck (1995) by Adam R — 17 Dec 2013
The critics are wrong about this one. Tom And Huck is without a doubt one of the best live action movies Disney has ever made (and I've seen them all, so I say that with confidence). I don't exactly remember how closely it follows the book, The Adventures Of Tom Sawyer, which I loved as a teenager, but I believe that it certainly captures the spirit of it and that is what really matters.
(First viewing - January 1996 in theaters).
