Review of Tokyo Sonata (2008) by May C — 31 Mar 2009
I missed the beginning but got attracted by the "no way out" feeing throughout the whole film. I believe this film is not particularly shoot for the global climate but it happens to be fitting in the atmosphere nowadays.
The journeys in the 2nd half part keep me questioning what will come next for this family. After all, communication and care are the basis of every relationship. And I'm very glad that its ending is not too sad.
