Review of Tokyo Gore Police (2008) by Aaron C — 18 Feb 2009
The film opens up with a chainsaw wielding maniac eating his latest victim and the police shoot him to shreds. He then produces a chainsaw from the gaping wound in his arm. I thought this film couldbn't top itself and every 15 minutes or so I was proven wrong.
It consistently grosses you out more and more until the climax. I don't really want to say what happened, half the fun is in the discovery. It's easily the most outrageous film I've seen. The plot is absolutely original, can't praise it enough.
It breaks up the gore with a comedic commercial now and then and it's never out of place. Never has a movie been so visually fucked up. Human Chair!
