Review of Tokyo Drifter (1966) by Cale R — 25 Jan 2008
An awesome gangster story set in Tokyo during the 60's. Tokyo Drifter never takes itself too seriously and has several hilarious comedic moments, including a cheesy western style bar room brawl. One of the strongest aspects of Tokyo Drifter is definately the use of color by director Seijun Suzuki, not to mention its awesome style.
