Review of Tokyo Drifter (1966) by Masorad ( — 30 Mar 2009
Yakuza gangster B-movie with American Western elements (the saloon brawl) thrown in just because. Suzuki's zany tale is probably, in the final analysis, about individualism but I couldn't care less because the colours included herein are like Douglas Sirk meets Dr Seuss.
Groovy, Suzuki-san.
