Review of To the Devil a Daughter (1976) by Natalie T — 03 Dec 2007
Hammer's last film to date is a cynical attempt to jump on the Exorcist/Omen bandwagon, and probably seemed quite rude at the time. I last saw this about thirty years ago and remember being quite impressed by the demonic baby that Nastassja Kinski stuffs up her flower, but three decades on it looks quite poor now.
This is quite revered by some, mainly because it's so untypically Hammer, but if I had to choose my favourite of the studio's from this period The Satantic Rites Of Dracula would win fangs down.
