The plot did drag but I found the story behind the making of this film absolutely facinating. The ending was changed at the last minute and Widmark was a very difficult person to work with. Kinski wasn't bad in her first major role but some parts were really disturbing.
The last Hammer Horror movie ever made but it's OK to look back on.
