Review of To Save a Life (2009) by Charlé H — 30 Jan 2010
Just because a moie has a great moral and theme doesn't make it a great movie. except for the lead actor, the performance of the cast is quite weak. The story lacks character developments and deeper exploration of faith and teen depression.
the movie started out quite promising. It has a big potential to be great drama. But at times the supporting characters seem a bit 2 dimensional. I wanted to like this movie, but it's very much a tv movie or a movie that is sold in christian book store.
if you really want to see this, I'd wait until it comes out on the DVDs. I'd rather spend the money to go see Avatar (great moral and a great movie without a religious agenda) again for the 3rd time.
