Review of To Live and Die in L.A. (1985) by Don N — 13 Dec 2009
I watched this like 3-4 days ago and honestly the thing I remember most is the wierd and very 80's Wang Chung soundtrack. anyway this was very...forgettable. the only thing that doesnt rise above what you already assume from it is the cop actually seems pretty dirty, more than 'youre off the case, detetctive!' type stuff, he actually seems more like an misogynsitic adrenaline junkie, and that with a badge is actually kind of scary.
and william defoe as a cultured, and cold counterfeiter. that and the ending makes this kind of a wierd, nihilistic movie.
