Review of To Live and Die in L.A. (1985) by Lee M — 02 Mar 2014
Fabulous feel and tone, created through a few really wonderful characters. As tropey as it seems superficially (revenge-motivated police cat and mouse) it feels original, since the pervasive nihilism enriches the superficiality of the characters tremendously.
Generally fun, but the car chase was over-indulgent and broke the flow of the story for me (since I am very dumb).
