Review of To Kill a Mockingbird (1962) by Lora R — 11 Jul 2012
I loved Gregory Peck as Atticus (that 9 minute summation speech in one take was just amazing!) and I also liked Robert Duvall, although his role was small. The kids were fantastic and acted well. I liked the script, but it felt kind of weird because it was skipping from here to there.
The theme of the movie is very meaningful and so is the moral of the story about a variety of issues in society. It teaches you about racial issues, innocence, respect, judging people etc. and I really loved that.
It is definitely a classic and recommendable.
