Review of To Kill a Mockingbird (1962) by Jordan K — 30 Nov 2013
To Kill A Mockingbird was a movie I watched after reading the book for school, and even though it's not perfectly accurate to the book, this movie caught my attention at every scene. There wasn't one scene I was really bored at, because the story is excellent (although most parts from the book are chopped out) and the characters are ones you go in depth about and kind of step in their shoes and think about their hardships.
If you don't know the classic story, it revolves around the Finch family and their father (and an excellent character for the plot) Atticus Finch, whose defending a black man enrages the town mainly filled with whites. This also causes trouble for Atticus' children Jem and Scout and the book takes a look at racism and its infamous impact back in the 1930s setting.
The movie is a classic, one of those ones you must see before you die. The story once again kept my attention at all times and was jam packed of suspense between the antagonist Bob Ewell and Atticus. The film is great one and I definitely suggest you check it out.
