Review of To Have and Have Not (1945) by Davey M — 03 Apr 2008
Hawks gives us the delightful opportunity to watch Bogart and Bacall court onscreen. It's virtually a Casablanca remake that dispenses with the plot in favor of the more routine, day to day lives of people.
And, at least for me, it holds up even better than the more famous Curtiz film.
