Review of To Have and Have Not (1945) by A B — 25 Jun 2005
Friday night, I watched To Have and Have Not (still trying to work my way through the Bogart-Bacall movies which means that I'm now halfway done) and it was so good! Very quoteable, which helps and for someone who's only 19 (when the movie was made, yes I know she's not 19 now), Lauren Bacall's incredibly sexy.
On Saturday, I saw Bewitched. Parts were funny, and I always enjoy Nicole Kidman and Will Farrell (except for in The Stepford Wives and Kicking and Screaming, respectively), but this was really not a must-see. It's worth a rental, but I wouldn't pay to see it again in the theater.
I still want to see Batman and Land of the Dead. I do love those zombie movies.
