Review of To Die For (1995) by Mike T — 24 Feb 2009
Colorful, realized acting from a superb cast helps to offset the dark material at hand. Although the fusion of comedy and tragedy feels a bit strained at times, this movie is as compelling as it is warped.
Gus Van Sant's visionary direction fills the picture with energy and tone, and Nicole Kidman's lead performance is chillingly memorable.
