Review of To Die For (1995) by Blake P — 19 Sep 2015
I've never been a fan of Nicole Kidman but she was quite bearable in this film. I expect if she hadn't done this movie then her future career would have been very different. Perhaps she wouldn't have been the obvious candidate for all those films which need an evil bitch with good looks (from a safe distance).
This story is a good 'un and there are some particularly good performances from young Joaquim Pheonix and Casey Affleck. I don't get how they look the same age in this and now look like there is 25 years between them though.
