Review of To Catch a Thief (1955) by Caz H — 08 Oct 2013
This was an enjoyable film of a very high calibre: the performances were great and the cinematography stunning. However I struggled to find anything particular special about it and whilst some scenes were really stand out and engaging, I found myself losing interest at other moments.
The plot was solid but I actually found the ending fairly predictable and not as thrilling as I expected. I can see why this is a classic but it never quite reached excellence for me.
