Review of To Catch a Thief (1955) by Matt M — 05 Jan 2014
Out to clear his name after a recent crime spree, a reformed thief looks for the real person behind the burglaries. Hitchcock's own distinguishing style is able to turn even this story, certainly not the most original in his filmography, into a gripping and exciting thriller with hints of romanticism.
The cinematography is wonderful and particularly inspired. On top of that, this film stars the charming couple of Cary Grant and Grace Kelly, the latter particularly memorable in this film.
