Review of To All the Boys I've Loved Before (2018) by The3Academysins — 26 Dec 2019
Why do teenagers have to make romance so complicated? It's this timeless coming-of-age dilemma that is given a fresh twist in this Netflix original film. To All The Boys I've Loved Before was surprisingly tender, and surprisingly funny.
The leading performance by Lana Condor is really great. She's incredibly vulnerable and relatable, and she carries the weight of the film easily on her shoulders. The story is really fresh and nice, if a little bland at points.
This was a movie that really caught me off guard by how well it was crafted.
