Review of To All the Boys I've Loved Before (2018) by Second G — 04 Sep 2018
A new movie that all girl teenagers loved!
To All the boys I've Loved Before, is a romance movie, which was directed by Susan Johnson. Furthermore, the places that set in the film are a city, where are located a beautiful house and a school.
In the beginning, this movie shows the life of a girl called "Lara Jean", which in all the film was found in troubles, because of some letters that her sister sent, to all the boys she liked in school or had a fantasy with. Well, the actress that played the role of the teenage girl "Lara Jean" in the movie was Lana Condor, who did an amazing job in the film, in a very professional way. Also, the actor that played the role of her tender boyfriend "Peter Kavinsky" was Noah Centineo, who did an very good and professional work, in which a lot of effort was noticed.
Currently, these actors are well known for their successful participation in this film.
Also, they had participate and appeared in movies and TV shows like X-Men and The Fosters.
As I mentioned before the plot of this film, in my opinion the story of this movie was very interesting and in some parts had funny scenes, because of all the emotion and energy that the characters put on it.
Talking about the Cinematography the film seemed good to me since the audio was listenable, the scenes had very good resolution, among them one of my favorites was when the girl Lara Jean and her boyfriend Peter Kavinsky were in the cafeteria, although there weren't many special effects because the movie it's based on real life. About the emotional effects, this film transmitted beautiful feelings, such as laughter or tenderness.
Finally, I give this movie 10 of 10, because it's very romantic and fun; I recommend this film if you like romantic films with a little bit of drama. Furthermore, this film has set a trend during these days on Netflix.

This movie is called "To all the boys I've loved before", the director of this movie is Susan Johnson. It's a Romantic-comedy with teenagers drama.
The principal actors are Lana Condor as Lara-Jean and Noah Centineo as Peter Kavinsky. Noah Centineo is a famous actor that appeared more in series than in movies, he acts since 2009, one of his most famous projects is "The Fosters" a TV series. Lana Condor is a new actress, her first film was "X-Men Apocalypse.
Lana and Noah are perfect for their character, their acting is really great, like in the part when they have to pretend they are a couple, the quimic between them feels like real.
This movie is about a teenager called Lara Jean that wrote 5 different love letter for 5 different guys that she fell in love with. Then something happens and those letters were sended to all of the guys. Lara Jean did everything she could do to get back those letter, but it was too late, so one of the boys called Peter and her got united to make Peters ex-girlfriend and the boy that Lara Jean likes jealous, because of that a lot of things happened between them and their friends and family. The story is really good, because it keeps you entertained and interested all the movie.
The cinematography was really good, because the scenes and how they are setted for the movie makes it special. The soundtrack make you feel the things that are happening during the movie, also feel what the characters feel.
One of the best scenes of the movie is when Lara Jean and Peter are at Peter's house having dinner with his mom, and then they wash the dishes and started talking about their families is a very sad scene but you can feel the sadness because the lights are very dark and the music very sad, it was an amazing scene.
This is a really good movie, I give it 4.5/5 because I could really feel the emotions and the sad moments. I think that the fans of these type of movies wouldn't be disappointed because is a great movie. I think that people should watch it because it teaches you a really good lesson, and it is that the people are not what they appear to be.

This film was directed by Susan Johnson. It is a romantic film mainly but it has a bit of comedy too. This film was shot in Vancouver, Canada. This movie is an screen adaptation from the book "To all the boys I've loved before" written by Jenny Han, that was released in 2014.
The character of Peter Kavinsky is portrayed by Noah Centineo and Lara Jean is played by Lana Condor. Noah is also known for his role in The Fosters as Jesus Foster and he also had a small role in the Disney series: Austin & Ally playing Dallas. Lara has also participated in X-men: Apocalipsis as Jubilation Lee. Both of them are great actors and they really get in their characters, which made the film even better.
This film is about a girl called Lara Jean, who has written letters to all the boys she has ever liked. Her little sister thought she was really lonely so she decided to send the letters and that's how all the problems started. In my opinion, the plot of this film is great because it is original and something that hasn't been seen before.
The movie has a lot of impressive qualities. For example, they use music that matches what is happening and adds more feelings to the scene. It also has some good shots, from when they go in the ski trip. This film has also got a lot of emotions going on, and the acting and music add a lot more to the scenes.
My final rating for this film is: 8,5 stars out of 10. I think fans of romantic films will like it, but others may think it is too cheesy. People should really see this movie because the plot is really interesting and funny and the character development is great. In my opinion, the film is absolutely worth to watch and it makes you have a marvelous time. The meaning of this movie, for me, is that unexpected things can be good too and you just have to be brave to confront the problem.
