While better than the third film, this fourth film just doesn't really work for me. The animation is sort of average, when you see Pixar and even Dreamworks films...it is hard to look at this and be impressed.
That is not to say this is downright bad animation, it just isn't up to par with today's standards. The story is a bit too big and confused, and the big final battle is SO big that it actually loses me in the mix of it all.
It was a nice try, but it never really worked.
