Review of TMNT (2007) by Johnm. — 24 Mar 2007
For the first 1/2 hour the movie made me yearn for the good ole rubber suits and all that it entailed. Watching the rooftop turtle on turtle battle changed my mind, with gorgeous CG raindrops dancing differently on metal and green skin.
This movie is escapist fun. Those looking for plot, look elsewhere. I mean, come on, have you ever really watched one of the old cartoons. No plot. Ever. None. Why would the movie be different? The last three of them certainly weren't.
If you want a plot go read a book. I suggest The Third Policeman. You'll spend the next three months figuring it out.
