Review of Titus (1999) by Nick S — 31 Aug 2007
I thought the anachronistic setting could have been introduced a little better, and the opening scene with the action figured was silly. The also should have done something about Shakespeare's blatant racism.
On the other hand, it's nice seeing Hopkins in concert with cannibalism again, and, once it got going, the semi-modern setting got fairly clever. I really like Colm Feore in this movie.
