Review of Titus (1999) by Tyler P — 19 Dec 2007
I might stand alone, but I found this film atrocious. The juxtaposition of modern and ancient backdropped with excessive violence, gore, and horribly painful death and mutilation made for a nauseating ride.
I didn't get it and I didn't want to - even fairly memorable performances by Hopkins, Rhys-Meyers and Cumming couldn't ressurect this disjointed and corny attempt at film.
