Review of Titus (1999) by Brian K — 25 Aug 2014
As someone who's relatively neutral on the Shakespeare play but really admired certain aspects about it, I think this film is kinda similar. There's some genuinely creative ideas here and some real ambition, but at the same time, I just don't really find the story engaging enough on the whole.
So I'm glad I saw it but I don't think it's great by any means.
