Review of Titanic II (2010) by Imdb P — 14 May 2011
The original Titanic by David Cameron was one of my favourite films. Therefore I was quite exited to hear about 'Titanic 2', but I was soon disappointed when I saw it.
Despite the fact the film was made in 2010, the original film in 1997 had much better visual effects. You'd think 13 years after, they could ser-pass with better effects. The problem is, is that in James Cameron's film, managed to created a lot of emotion to the audience as the Titanic sank, and he did this by the way he created the ship. They spent years working on the interior, for example the grand staircase, in which people began to appreciate the beauty of the ship. But with Titanic 2, no effort was made to create a beautiful ship, as of what was seen in the 1997 film. Therefore the audience don't feel so emotional when the 'Titanic 2' sinks.
The acting was really wooden and cheesy, and the camera shots were awful, and your view of the ship itself is very limited.
I wouldn't recommend this to anyone, the whole thing is just tacky, cheesy and cheap!
